Big Cat and I got invited to a random get-together/crawfish party.
It was mostly his old friends and their families, but I had fun playing with the kids and talking about anime with the teenagers.
I didn't really appreciate being referred to as Big Cat's "girlfriend" despite being together for 17 years, but all-in-all I had a good time.
I hope this becomes a more regular occurrence so they can get to know me more than just "Big Cat's girlfriend". Just because I'm not part of mom or wife club shouldn't mean I should feel not part of the overall friend group.
