you know that group of friends that are always getting into a heap of trouble, comically stumbling over one another as they just try to survive the hustle & bustle of the big city while also making an impossible amount of time available to being with one another? i present to you, the semi-permanent residents of the back booth in o’flattery’s, a pub located in southie of boston. most of them have known each other since they were little or since college, forming close bonds over the years and now they can’t seem to get rid of one another. they don’t all live together, though some do, but they’re always at one another’s apartments, eating out of someone’s fridge or watching their tv. somehow, they manage to hang out freely, together, at one p.m. on a thursday afternoon or all their schedules manage to link up so they can always be together for a movie night. though, their favorite place is definitely the booth, beers in hand and trading barbs back & forth. sure, they drag one another into their problems and get into the most outrageous situations that any retelling of will definitely have them keeling over in laughter but that’s what friends are for right? and they’re really good friends -- some may say a couple of them are more than just friends. point is, they’ve got each other’s backs, no matter what.
