What are your thoughts on Tomorrowland? I saw it yesterday and wasn't really a fan. It had a lot of cool ideas, but I thought it was executed rather poorly.

I liked parts of it. Whenever George Clooney’s character was onscreen- young and old version- I was really enjoying the film. It was also an original story, which is so rare in Hollywood today with reboots, sequels, and prequels, so I admire it. Also, Brad Bird is an amazing director, and it is an astonishingly beautiful-looking film.

However, it was not exactly executed well pacing and message-wise. I won’t say that it was a bad movie, I liked parts of it, but some of it felt to slow, especially the beginning, and that talking to the camera thing as unneeded, until it got to Clooney’s character. Towards the end it went too fast without explaining things very well and then it started calling the girl the Chosen One when she didn’t do anything except say that she has control over her own destiny, which is what a lot of people know already. Clooney actually did everything hero-wise, she was just there to be the girl that did it (however, I think Brad Bird meant for her to be the hero, he just didn’t execute it right). Sadly, themessage at the end was so hammerd in that it got a bit annoying. But I can say that I’m glad that I watched it, because it was still an entertaining movie.

What is Eurovision?

It’s a song contest based on the Italian Sanremo Music Festival in which countries of Europe have to submit in an entry (a song) and perform it live at the festival and at the end there’s a winner picked by the people’s voting and the juries of countries.

I like Matt/Claire so much better than Matt/Karen! I kind of want Karen to end up with Foggy because I feel like they go better together than if she was with Matt. I do get that she prefers Matt because he's more attractive, but I feel like she wouldn't understand the whole "Daredevil" thing like Claire does. What are your thoughts? I'm Chloë by the way :)

I am so sorry for not answering this sooner!  Life hit me in so many ways :/ (first my mom was sick then I was sick with her flu and now I have bronchitis smh). 

Honestly I think there’s a certain chemistry that both couples have, Foggy/Karen works so well because they were friends first but also she’s exactly the kind of gentle soul I think she needs right now.  Towards the end of the season she made so many bad decisions (I’m sorry but not telling anyone she’d killed Wesley was bad, as was lying to Ben because then he died for getting involved).  I feel like Foggy has this humanizing gentle sort of humanity that she needs to ground her.  I think Foggy has learned a lot from finding out about Matt’s nighttime activities and he’d be good for her rn. (Also I know he and Marcy are supposed to be a thing but it just sort of happened? and it was so late in the show and I was already shipping Foggy/Karen lol).

and now… for my babies… Matt/Claire has that spark you spend ages watching tv to see. Like its such a rare thing to actually feel that attraction from the actors.  I think its a combination of their acting chops and their dedication ofc but so many of their scenes just transcend the lines.  Like I was actually watching some of the episodes on really low volume and forgot to put the subtitles on and if you didn’t know what was going on you can get so many raw emotions from their scenes together. Honestly the fics write themselves. I mean just looking at the gifs of Rosario and Charlie shows their amazing chemistry!

I’m happy for everyone that he’s such a nice person, it’s always great when a person you respect and admire, is a genuinely nice person.

A couple of actors whose work I like, weren't very nice when I met them, and it’s an awful feeling

OMG YOU MET CHARLIE COX? WHAT WAS HE LIKE? :D

He was adorable, he comes out all smiley and everything, he personalized the autograph with a small message, which is always really nice. I talked him a little bit about how i’d only managed to watch a few episodes of daredevil so far, but I loved him in Stardust, and he smiled really widely and said something like “oh wow, thank you so much”. And my friend made him chuckle, and I swear it’s one of the cutest things i’ve ever heard. He is genuinely so lovely, a real sweetie, but I expected nothing less really. And because we were waiting a while for him, after the car pulled up, he apologized to everyone for the long wait, it’s like bless your soul.

"You have cancer." The words hit Tadashi like daggers. How could he of all people have cancer? He had fallen two days earlier, but it was an accident. He surely must have tripped. The results of the tests told otherwise. The doctor had given him months to live, a year at most, and as he sat there listening to the doctor tell him this, the only thing on his mind was Hiro. How was he going to tell him that he was dying?

WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS OMG NOOOOOOOOO

Okay okay YES though because the first person he would instantly think about is Hiro. Yes, he knows he has to tell Aunt Cass and all of his friends and he knows it will break their hearts, but it’s Hiro that he can’t stop thinking about. How in god’s name is he going to tell his little brother, his little brother that he adores and cares for so much, that he is dying, that he wont be here for him. And I think in the end, when he tells him, he can`t do it stoically and straight-faced; because one look at his brother`s concerned face, pushes him over the edge and he just bawls. he can`t stop crying, all while trying to tell him, and when he finally does, they`re both sobbing, for so long, and it takes Hiro a very, very, very long time to accept that he`s dying.

in a way i think this is worse than the fire because hiro knows and all he can do is wait

I wish we had seen Claire/Foggy interacting! I think you summed it up pretty well. Imagine Matt reaching for her face and quietly saying, "Claire, you're here..." and then falling unconscious again and her just yelling his name until she notices the tiny ride and fall of his chest. She would have sat there all night if she could. I love them!
