Primarily a book of recipes and instructions for preparing frozen desserts, this small book includes some wonderful illustrations, many in color, such as the Frigidaire Model AP-7-2 (“available in lustrous white Duco or in any of five harmonious color combinations of Duco”)—pictured here in its wasting electricity mode—and two ladies and dessert with their fridge in half-wasting mode.
It’s all thanks to science, with all testing done in the Frigidaire Experimental Kitchen,
using scientific instruments.
with the resulting fridge under the indomitable sway of the titular “Frigidaire cold control”
