Authorities say a Texas fire chief whose small town was among the hardest hit last week by historic blazes sweeping across the Panhandle die

The Chief died last night fighting a structure fire, yet another fire that his department has battled while tackling the largest fire in Texas history. These men have put it all on the line with some losing everything, and now they've lost their Chief. The Fritch Volunteer Fire Department deserve immense praise for what they've done and continue to do. I'll forever be grateful for their hospitality.

So for the past day, I’ve been making drawings of the OCs of some artists I’m huge fans of, as a Christmas present to this great community! The first panel is Miwa; whom belongs to @hot-tortilla-fish I based that one on one of their earlier Godzilla art pieces with her, aswell as a mock of a particular shot from GODZILLA (2014). She’s really fun to pose. The second panel is Amarok; who belongs to @ricekandyyy , I’m unsure if I did the forest setting all that well, but all I hope is that it’s satisfactory enough. And that is a dead MUTO in the distance! Also I feel like her pose is one of the most favorite poses I’ve ever done in a drawing. Third panel is Baki, by @tuzi0usagi0bunbon0bunny I find it kind of funny how I gave the most timid out this quartet of OCs the most imposing art piece of all. I formed the enviroment’s color scheme around the color blue, as I felt like it would fit the mood and give it a particular feel. Fourth, last but definitely not least is Fritch, who belongs to @endominator. I had substantial amounts of fun with that hair of his. As well as coloring the environment, which I used the similar strategy to Baki’s drawing, in which I blended it all together with a major color (this case being red) making up most if not all of the color scheme in the drawing. It was in general a blast to imagine and execute, but that applies to all the other drawings in this collection. I hope you guys really like this, if so, then I’d say what I wanted was as good as completed. Expect more to come by tomorrow! The Godzilla Tumblr community, despite me only being in it for what? 3 months, is probably the healthiest and most enlightening fandom environment I’ve been in ever; period. It’s gotten me past some particularly difficult and rough times being around here. So I hope you’re all feeling well - That’s all, have a happy upcoming New Year!

I made a silly comic with @endominator's OC Fritch. That poor horse kaiju just can't get a break from the king of the monsters, always one the run to not get killed. So this request to play pony for the alpha's nephew totally came out of the blue. And heck, if it gets the angry lizard off his back, hell yeah he'll play pretty pony for an hour!! One year of peace, that IS a good deal!
