I’m on a little vacation from work, school, and people.

I’m here with my family, so I still have to worry about some people.

But I’m trying to clear my mind and reflect on this past year, and think about tackling 2020 instead of being afraid of it.

This is the calm before the storm. Or so it seems. Hopefully, I can package up some of the peace that looks like walking along an empty beach, the plane window seat at 4 am, a glass of wine. These are the things I want to take with me into the new year. Reminders that peace, serenity, happiness are more important than stressing myself out about what all has to be done.
