Like, I am saying Jiang Cheng gives frog shaped pins to his disciples, but I am still undecided on what these pins look like.

Like, the Jiang Sect disciples are a bunch of feral gremlins, anything delicate or fancy would not last two hours in their hands.

But JC does put his mind on making something nice and at the same time sturdy enough.

Maybe the pins have different designs, like the stickers:

I am still working on this.

EDIT: now, I am ome and I can think better.

JC has several types of pins.

1. There is the common silver pin, simple one that JC hands out whenever JL/his disciples do something nice

2. The less common green frog pin is for those who have brought the community something really beneficial.

3. He has the silver pin with red decorations for the ex demonic cultivators who he brought into the Jiang Sect and corrected their ways, transforming them into proper cultivators.

4. There is the very rare silver frog pin with peony, reserved for when the disciples do something real nice for JL

5. And he has the ultra-rare purple frog pin - it basically means that JC will happily die for you, but no one has received this pin yet.

One day the Junior Quartet comes back from a night hunt unscathed and JC hands them all the frog pins. Everyone except JC look at him in confusion. Sect Leader Ouyang cries because "my son has been deemed worthy of appreciation and I am so proud of him". In Gusu the frog pins have varied reactions: WWX repeating to himself "JC does NOT care about FROGS, WHY THE FROG PINS", whilst LWJ chuckles - he can appreciate the thought, at least for the Juniors sake. LXC opens half window bc Jingyi and Sizhui can't wait a wole month to see him and show the pins - LXC smiles and cries in joy, looking to the one day he will open the door of his seclusion.

JL is in the Jinlintai, he is somehow in danger and Jin Guangyao saves him. JC rushes to Carp Tower and hears the story. Without thinking, after thanking JGY, he reaches to his pins pouch and gives TO JGY the ULTRA RARE PURPLE FROG PIN AND the silver frog peony pin.

JGY looks at JC in visible confusion. JL is jumping around him. "Don't worry A-Yao shushu, this means that he really really REALLY appreciates your gesture. Also, you are the only one who got the purple frog, that is the ULTRA rare!"

JGY spends the next six months debating whether he has to forfeit his evil plans for the frog pins.

NOTE: in my own happy AU he does forfeit his evil plans once and for all and actively tries to befriend JC. After all he received from him the ultra rare token of appreciation and the Jiang Sect could use some help.

Am I taking this too far? Probably. Do I regret it? NOPE.
