I'm gonna throw out all my theories/predictions/guesses for this season/the finale in no particular order just so I can go back and reblog this if any are correct. Some of these are mostly crack, but hey why not?
1. Kodiak is Cabin Daddy's son/relative and has a connection to the Wilderness through him.
2. Lottie's vision of the stairs under her apartment was a prediction of the future where she tried some sort of ritual, prayer, or offering post-wilderness but still as a teen -> leading to her hospitalization.
3. Kodiak is going to turn on the girls.
4. Misty will have a moment of self-realization due to Walter and it will either bring them closer, or she will kill him.
5. Callie is going to hurt or kill someone unintentionally (bonus points if Shauna uses this as leverage to keep them "a family").
6. Shauna or Melissa or both are going to kill Alex.
7. Jeff cheats on Shauna with the hotel lady.
8. Mistynat in the 90's timeline? (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE)
9. Other Tai manages to save Van, but the cost of doing so is more than just the life she took.
10. Shauna still doesn't believe in "It" in the modern timeline/never has.
11. Walter is gay. (TFYM YOU LIKE SHOW TUNES, FAGGOT?!)
12. Walter also isn't who he claims to be!
> He's definitely not law enforcement; he wouldn't have killed a man like that if he was
> He has a LOT of money, and his interests line up with Misty's a little TOO closely for it to be coincidence....
> But why Misty/the Yellowjackets?? Does he have some sort of connection to them?
13. Hannah isn't pit girl. Additionally we don't find out who is this season.
14. Shaunahat lesbian sex scene in adult timeline (I will pay good money for this!!!)
15. The frogs secrete venom from their paratoid glands (or something similar) that contains high amounts of DMT. During the mating season they uhhhhhhhhhhhhh rub the glands around everywhere to release pheromones as part or their mating patterns, but either the frogs themselves, or plants they've scented on have been consumed by other creatures. So the DMT accumulates in the ecosystem there, resulting in biomagification of the substance which is causing the Yellowjackets to experience the psychotropic effects of DMT merely from the plants and animals they consume. Additionally, smoking the frog venom can cause one to experience the effects so if the frogs scented on the wood they use for fires or something that could also be a way of getting high from it? (See: Cane Toad venom)
Now these frogs are frogs and not toads and I'm pretty sure this DMT venom trait is found only in toads that I'm aware of...but what are the chances the writers know that?
Additionally I am no biologist and I'm loosely stringing together concepts I somewhat know something about!
16. Shauna didn't kill Lottie.
