Tona - The Taino Frog Children - Batu (Batey) This is just a small sketch project I'm working on. Something to keep consistent with my post while also still working on a secret project I'm not allowed to post just yet. In this Tona Sketch I'm trying to show teens playing a traditional game played by the natives of the Caribbean, South America, Mexico and Florida. The game is called Batu and/or Batey, I'm not too sure if it's a regional thing or a preference thing but it's a game where you can't use your hands and the object of the game is to get the ball threw the hoop if I remember the game properly. I may be wrong in some of the detail so I suggest you look it up. Too be honest I wasn't planning on making the sketch this detailed but it kind of took over, I'm glad with how it turned out.
