Do you think that when Percy first began to heal in the water at Camp he was finally able to breathe properly?
Gabe was a smoker (I may be confusing fanon and canon), so Percy very likely had second hand smoke from cigarettes, so do you think when he first submerged in water to heal he could finally breathe properly? Do you think he felt relief at being able to take a deep breath again?
