Okay here are some artist tips from me because these are what kindof helped me more than just "keep practicing" and because I am willing to give you this information:
START DRAWING IN PEN AND USE REFERENCES oh my god I started doing this and I improved more in a month than everything I did in a year it's a miracle that pens exist I love pens mwah mwah mwah (reason: when drawing in pen you see your mistakes more clearly, and when you see them more clearly it's easier to learn from them. Also teaches you line confidence)
If you are having art block steal ideas and existing material from the outside world and combine them into a small visual soup. I don't care if it doesn't "make sense" just do it
Set little quests up for yourself like "from today on to the next week I'll draw houses" or something like that. Also draw things that you think you'd never ever be able to draw from time to time it helps the mind
Study anatomy. And the diversity it can form. Please🙏 I want you to learn how to draw fat people it's good for your brain🙏🙏 also learn to draw people of colour please IT'S NOT JUST "YOUR STYLE". LEARN HOW TO DRAW BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE. PROPERLY (flaming text flaming text flaming text flaming text also pro tip palms are always lighter than the skin tone itself)
First break down what you want to draw in shapes, afterwards study the sillhouette👍 this is useful for pen drawings and also gives you an idea of where your shapes need to be
Anyways that's all for now I'll add some things when I have more time❤️❤️❤️ yay
