Maple switches Dia’s name depending on his mood and situation;

Dia for casual conversation

Same with Akira unless they are in the manor then it’s a serious conversation + Maple is concern/worried.

Joker for serious things / if they are in the metaverse.

Kurusu if he’s actually annoyed / irritated.

Kurusu-san when Maple is actually angry and genuinely upset towards him.

Dia does the same thing with switching Maple’s name. So, they can read and pick up on each other’s mood by simply how they call each other.
