dearest phil,

i've been compiling songs that remind me of myself, you and us into a playlist, and it's been nice to listen to and all. problem is yesterday i fixed it up; nixed some songs that i have no idea why i even added in the first place, replaced a few to fit within the sound i wanted the whole thing to keep, etc.. i also listened to a new song by one of my favourite artists that also reminds me of you (cosmo sheldrake), "old ocean," and i can't possibly describe to you how it makes me feel. it's not even the lyrics, though parts of them do get me, it's just the whole sound of it.

i miss you so deeply when i listen to it. i hope more than anything right now that you're out there somewhere.
