Had a conversation with someone about why I don’t personally ship Qrow X Winter that involved explaining that beyond the other reasons I don’t really like it, I HC that:

-the Vytal festival is like the Olympics in terms of hook-ups between students from across the four kingdoms

-Willow Schnee went through Atlas Academy and she and James Ironwood were partners

-Qrow hooked up with both of them when they were all students more than once and then into his early career (Tai, Raven and Summer were working themselves out and he was having a great time Vytal festival style)
