We must address the absolute delight of horseshoe (QrowxJamesxClover) more often because the plot concept of each of them trying to get the other two together at the same time is so damn early 2000s rom com of them and I will create 100000 scenarios in which it happens.

These are distinctly concepts and subject to change but Stelrid the new beloved.

Technically they're my current main focus for the AU idea that Iron Lung hit me over the back of the head with - ergo making them more or less the main character atm! The AU in itself will probably be a different post but these concepts are MOSTLY for that AU (Genesis Undone) however you can still get some of my rambles:

Stelrid S. Branwood [Branwen/Ironwood]

Often just "Stel" - Name is a combination of Steller in reference to the Steller's Jay and Irid, which is from Iridium, which is both a shade of black and a radioactive isotope (Iridium-192) as well as a heavy metal

Colors - Blue/Black [Blue taken from James as it's the color I associate with who he really is, grey/white is more tied to his position and linage/family -- Black, well gestures, Qrow] "Blue is the color most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and occasionally with sadness." Blue also has ties to loyalty and trust - also something something a direct opposite to red, ahah iron lung allusion but cool tones instead of the notable warm tones of the film

Genderfluid!! Masc leaning but it switches some days.

18~ at the start of RWBY, 19-20 by Volume 8/9 [39-40 during Genesis Undone]

Never trained to be a huntsman, more inclined towards engineering and aeronautics - attended Atlas Academy specifically for such work in hopes of being able to work on the military's airships. Or well, hopes to officially work on such things. I think they might have a knack for weapons as well.

HOWEVER I don't think there's a world where Stel HASN'T been taught to defend themself, he 100% knows how to fight people (if anything I am. a bit terrified of the punch they might be able to throw cause I s t a r e at both Qrow and James) and they definitely have a good level of knowledge about how to handle their aura n all that too.

There's some connection there with Ruby and Yang, they're cousins your honor however I don't know how close they are, regardless they're cousins.

A lot of their childhood n all that I have to figure out, h o w e v e r that also involves figuring out the actual dynamic with James and Qrow and the hell that that long distance relationship is (/affectionate/I do think all things considered things are fairly good between them)

They probablyyy live mostly in Atlas, occasionally stays in Vale? Or at least there are visits when the opportunity arises. Idk I think it makes a bit more sense for them to live with James, Qrow visiting Atlas feels WAY more plausible than the other way around cause, well, I look Qrow's ass does NOT stay in one place a good percentage of the time.

Unsure if they were/are involved with the inner circle at least with knowledge on ya know all that™ but I think at the very least the group knows of them and is kinda like extended family.

There is so much going on with the AU but again that is a WHOLE other post and I've mostly been working on establishing Stel pre-AU/Torment Nexus so yeah :)! Also shout out to me making a fleshed out ship kid finally-
