These cookies are the perfect blend of chewy chocolate chip cookies and creamy frosting, creating a delightful surprise in every bite.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup frosting any flavor of your choice.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips. Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a small dollop of frosting in the center. Fold the dough around the frosting, making sure it's fully enclosed. Repeat for the rest of the dough and frosting. Place the filled cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between them. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy these delicious and soft frosting-filled chocolate chip cookies!
