OKAY OKAY yknow how i wanted to rant about how noah’s elimination was stupid because of both chris’s favoritism and the votes? well it still is (thanks to chris lol) but like. I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD WHY TYLER VOTED NOAH OUT

a) DUDE’S BEEN CHUMMY WITH ALEJANDRO SINCE DAY ONE!! i went and rewatched some clips and tyler and alejandro were legitimately bonding so i was wrong in saying it came out of complete nowhere that alejandro convinced him to vote alongside him

b) NOAH GENUINELY WAS DISRESPECTFUL TO HIM!! on top of lindsay getting him confused w tyler noah was OUT THERE IMPLYING TYLER WAS FORGETTABLE WHEN tyler himself talked about how he thought he should get more attention from the fans. not to mention memeing on him when he went down the runway, mocking him when his shoes were too slippery to pull his whole team in the yukon, voting him to undress a dude w his teeth AND THEN NOT CORRECTING HIM UNTIL HE FINALLY GOT TO THE SOCKS

and last but most recent discovery C) TYLER HIMSELF SAYS TO NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHIND. which is why he wanted to go back for owen in area 51!! he’s LITERALLY OUT HERE CLIMBING ELECTRIC FENCES AND TRYING TO PUNCH IN STEEL DOORS for owen because he CARES and wants to go back for him!!!

and you know who DIDN’T GO BACK FOR HIM and FORGOT TO UNTIL HE GOT KIDNAPPED BY A KILLER......

in conclusion: tyler my son im so sorry i ever doubted ur judgement you did what you had to do 😔😔

You have no idea how pumped i am to see a linguist on tumblr! I looove linguistics and i'm trying to at least minor in it soon but seeing all these asks from people in classes and such just makes me so happy like "this is it, this is what im hoping my classes will be like"

It’s amazing! I don’t know if I was ever as excited to learn in a class that wasn’t related to language? It’s interesting because we use language of some sort every day, and just take for granted the way that it works! But there are actually all these patterns and all this history that explains why things are the way they are! Even in the case of slutty, slutty English.
