Dp x Dc Prompt - Frosty Deals
It was by complete accident. John Constantine really needed to stop getting himself into situations where the only way out is through teleportation and not being completely focused. But it's not his fault that bad things just keep following him for some reason.
Yes he's a con artist, yes he's kind of an asshole but also he likes having like one day off where he could be good but he never gets the opportunity to be good. There's a reason why he's so done with magic but he can't escape that life so he has to keep pressing forward. So In the heat of the moment and one mildly wrong incantation Constantine ended up in a frozen wasteland.
Luckily he didn't end up outside sadly he was in a palace of ice. How? no idea. And he was also bleeding out on the floor but that wasn't important right now. He needed a way out and hopefully he isn't in the place that he thinks he is because if he has to do with one more demon he might just croak.
Turns out he wasn't in the place that he was thinking but he was in a yeti's Den. Yetis didn't live on earth or he assumes they don't live on earth because he hasn't dealt with them before. But once he made eye contact with one that was just staring into his soul he realized that he's about to deal with them for the very first time in his life.
The tallest Yeti he has ever seen and he's trying to think of what type of deals they would make so he can get out of this. They didn't instantly attack him so maybe he was getting off Scot free— okay that's just wonderful thinking. But the yeti didn't say anything it just kept staring at him and as soon as Constantine went to speak he was picked up so effortlessly.
Was he getting kidnapped? No? Maybe not John really couldn't tell given the fact that the yeti still hasn't said anything. But once he landed on a very soft bed and a strange room he could put two and two together. The yeti was doctor?! What exactly were the chances of this??
He eventually got the yeti to speak and got his name. Irony of calling the doc Frostbite and eventually Doc asked for his name. He was a bit wary at first and only gave his last name as Constantine was a wide known name in hell and in a few other factions. But he got no reaction, Frostbite simply chuckled and repeated it like some kind of mantra.
"How's it looking doc, am I going to make it?" John wasn't gravely injured he was just teasing to see if he can get something else out of him.
"I would surely hope so or else I'm not good at my job. So I do think you will have to come visit a couple of more times to make sure. Constantine."
And he said his name was a smile John got the doctor flirt back with him oh he's definitely coming back for this.
