Campbell Soup Co, 1961
Another frozen dinner; this time a giant pillpug! Inspired by that scene in Kuzco (iykyk) 😋 They always did look oddly appetizing watching it as a kid!

Life Cuisine Liftstyle Bowl product review
Jan 13, 2020
Size? Small bowl size frozen meal
Taste? Decent
Marketed as "Low carb lifestyle: Creamy Chicken and riced cauliflower bowl"
Kicker? YES. Tomatoes, carrots and tahini is listed on the front so it was a "maybe" for keto to start with. The carb count is too high for a keto meal but I thought what the heck, let's give it a shot since someone actually manufactured something low carb at a decent price.
However- Not listed on the front of the bowl is the fact that this has whole garbanzo beans to it. While it may be low carb, beans are not legal for keto, atkins or some other low carb plans. It might be ok for South Beach and possibly "clean" style eating Ala Tosca Reno.
Would I buy again? Only in a pinch. The carbs for this meal are too high for anyone trying to say under 20 a day. I don't think it is big enough to split in half either. I don't think it was filling enough and I had it on top of a bowl of greens to bulk it up. I also added some cheese to add some calories and fat.
Check out what my carb manager is reading.
Lean Cuisine Marketplace Roasted Garlic White Bean Alfredo
Product Description: “Organic fettucine, spinach and yellow carrots in a creamy garlic & white bean alfredo sauce with grated parmesan cheese.. ” Calories: 330
Fat: 7g
Carbs: 50g
Sodium: 620mg
WW Points Plus: 8 First Impressions: Yet another “limited edition” Will never understand this concept. Smells SUPER garlicky. Whole kitchen smells of garlic. Hard to stir at the midpoint as the sauce is a mostly-frozen block on top and amongst the noodles.
Gustatory Impressions: The noodles are fine. I have come to terms with the fact that LC is never going to give me the al dente texture I crave, so, they’re fine. The bean are yummy! The spinach is kinda gross. There are some inoffensive yellow carrots in here too. The sauce is kindof gloppy. I would prefer a creamier sauce. But, the taste is very garlicky and pretty good.
Summary: I don’t know why, but this felt like a lot of food to me. Lots and lots of noodles. I might buy this one again for days when I feel especially hungry, even though the taste is not my very favorite.

Lean Cuisine LIMITED EDITION Mango Chicken with Coconut Rice
Product Description: “ tender white meat chicken, juicy mango, edamame and toasted coconut in a sweet & savory mango sauce. ” Calories: 330
Fat: 6g
Carbs: 50g
Sodium: 620mg
WW Points Plus: 8 First Impressions: Another “limited edition” meal. I still don’t understand this concept, LC. But this meal looks exactly like the box and it smells great.
Gustatory Impressions: The chicken is of the relatively high quality I’ve come to expect from LC. You can really taste (and feel) the coconut, and it’s yummy. The edamame is nicely cooked. There is red bell pepper in it. The sauce is quite nice, a sweet and spicy mango goo.
Summary: I am sad that this is a limited edition meal. It is super yummy and I would buy it year round!
