Getting back on track doesn't have to be perfect. This week is going to be very far from perfect. Today I went out for wings and beer with Lace which we had planned for awhile, tomorrow night is New Year's Eve and I'm going to get drunk, and then Friday I'm going out after work with my team. Life is always going to happen. The important thing is that I acknowledge what I'm eating instead of doing it mindlessly. I haven't been tracking at all which is why I keep gaining and losing around the same four pounds.
This week I have no plans of being active, but maybe if I have some extra time I will get to the gym. I have decided not to post my steps this week. Next week I will try to make going to the gym and getting my steps more of a priority.
Small goals for the week:
72 oz of water 1/7
Track everything I eat and drink 1/6
I'm only doing 6 days of tracking as a goal because of New Year's Eve. I want to have a good time and not worry about tracking. I will track my breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though.
Good morning!
We just came off a long weekend so today is like my Monday. I'm starting with my new app this week following the WW Smart Points plan.
I had a couple people say that WWis a gimmick and I should just track what I eat. Here's the thing, I've done calorie counting and it makes me absolutely miserable. I've tried macro but honestly, I just don't understand it. At least with WW it's a little more in depth than simply calorie counting without the headache of figuring out macros.
And I just need to try something new.
Anyway, cheers to day 1! I'm going to try to keep you all posted on my progress and write daily about how things are going, what's working and what's not.

Me: When my hair gets wet it, like a very thirsty bitch, absorbs the water until all it's energy depletes and goes to sleep.
While it's sleeping, it poofs up from all it's restless movements.
Then it decides to make my life a living hell and covers the entirety of my precious and beautiful face.
It then decides that it's not done being a thirsty hoe and takes all of my air molecules. I then slowly suffocate and die....
*Turns off projecter*
