The Snow Queen was written by Hans Christen Andersen, but a significant portion of the story - where the Snow Queen lives - is in Norway.
As to People of Color living there, the first king to unite Norway — Halfdan the Black aka Halfdanr Svarti — was an African Moor. See African Presence in Early Europe by Ivan Van Sertima (1986) and A History of the Vikings by Gwyn Jones (1st ed. published 1968). We know he reproduced at least once.
Point the 3rd — This is a world with talking Snowmen. Thor (Marvel Comics) has Hogun, who is clearly Mongolian descent by Earth reckoning. Othello may have been based on Leo Africanus, but even if he wasn’t - he was a fictional Moor residing in Europe and that writer appears to have done just fine for himself.
And this is before we even get to the Sami character that is slated to be left out.

As for Ivan van Sertima, I think there are legitimate criticisms to be made about many of his conclusions, and I've seen a lot of stuff citing him going around on my dash. unfortunately, those LEGITIMATE criticisms haven't really been made in academic circles, and instead all criticism aimed at him is just antiblack racism couched in academic language.
That being said, the assertion being made that "All Danish people are white so everyone in Frozen has to be white!", as linked to in your submission, is patently false.

I honestly cannot express how much this means to me. That something I've made (a labor of deep and abiding love), means something to anyone else.
Sometimes this blog is the only thing that keeps me sane during my adventures in The Ivory Tower...and not the cool Robert Jordan Aes Sedai one, or the shining home of the Childlike Empress from The Neverending Story, but the crappy, elitist, racist, gatekeeping Ivory Tower of academia.
Fun Fact: I decided to go 'back to school' in 2009 to avoid homelessness. And I accidentally discovered The Meaning of My Life. I've been a working student for a few years now, and I tell you, it doesn't really get any easier.
If it isn't obvious, the reward here for me is in the act of doing it.
That being said, my scholarships and grants don't quite cover my tuition, and I'm paying out of pocket for my textbooks. I can only work so many hours, both because of my schedule and because of hourage caps at my job. (I make accessible college textbooks for students with disabilities, mostly blind and visually impaired students. I'm also disabled, and I love my job.)

Episode 2 update
Thank goodness for the weekend and thank goodness for finding a PDF of keyboard shortcuts for my video editing program. I've finished editing most of the introduction and that gets us into the bulk of the review, which will be infinitely easier to sync up. I'm trying to get most of my editing done M-F after work so that the weekends can be reserved for filming.
