Frudy: A Silent Epiphany - Part 2
The soft humming came to his ears in the early morning as he awoke into a new day, hearing Judy’s soft tune come to his ears from the bathroom, as his bright eyes blinked open, trying to focus in his disorientated state of having just awoken.
Only last night had their intimacy been expressed between them passionately before the two had ended up inevitably asleep beside one another in their equal exhaustion. Now Judy was awake. It caused him to give a soft groan of discomfort at the missing form beside him, and the realization that he would have to be getting ready for a new day too. Much to his dissatisfaction. Judy however, as usual, seemed to be ready and active to start the new day but this also meant that the new day needed to be started away from Frank, considering she had her own work to do and what good was Frank to be, dawdling and lingering around when no one even knew of their current situation? Their current affair.
“Frankie,” the delicate voice of Judy would call from the bathroom as she tided her hair, her fingers moving in a fluent nature of fixing her hair to be more presentable to the common eye.
Frank didn’t respond. He could hear her and acknowledge her, but his lips did not wish to move as though that would be giving into the idea and the reality of the fact that a new morning had approached them both and this meant a new day that he did not wish to start off without the woman nearby. It was understandable. She had been in his bed almost every night, just lying beside him and allowing his arms to wrap around her in a comfortable embrace to pull close to his chest. Now she was leaving to his dislike. But he understood…but it didn’t stop him from whining about it.
“I have to leave, Frank. Are you awake?”
“Don’t leave, I ain’t leavin’, why should you?” His quick response came, without a single thought coming from his head over these words, instead he let his mouth flow with words before his mind could contemplate over it.
A soft giggle fell from Judy’s soft pink lips as she re-entered the bedroom, dressed adequately and prepared for anything that approached her day, as usual. A talent that she had always had a knack for achieving on the best of her days.
“You know why, now ain’t’cha going to get out of bed? You can’t lie there all day.” Judy’s hands rested on her curvaceous hips and Frank was left frowning like a child as he watched her disapprovingly. The entire circumstances did not suit him well at all. No. Not at all.
“Judy I forbid ya from leavin’.” His voice was firmer, but it was insincere. He couldn’t forbid her, as much as he longed to have that sort of dominance over her. “Judy I lov-“
He was silenced by the woman pressing her lips against his. A perfect way to make the man quieten down.
She comes to him and she goes, like April snow leaving him wondering if she were truly real or if he were experiencing an illusion he embraced: half a dream. Although, in his heart he knew that she was real as much as at times he believed she might not be, for she left his life so quickly at times that he felt as though it may be better if she were just an illusion for the aching heart of his sometimes couldn’t bare the thought of her being truly real.
“Don’t say those words,” She commanded in the softest of voices, her eyes lingered on his lips for a moment that she had forced herself to break away from, before her eyes met with his once again that gazed at her in a soft blissful daze. “Not yet. You shouldn’t. We shouldn’t.”
“But it’s true.” Frank insisted, his body shifting beneath the covers until he was sat up with a helpless desire to have her convinced of his sincerity. “I do. I do…very much.” It wasn’t surprising as to why Judy may wish him not to say it; he was a ladies man – a man who could have any woman he wanted, so why would he settle for Judy? But the same went for her: Why would Judy dare to settle with Frank when she knew the possibilities of what he could do? And what he had done in the past to other women? Broken hearts.
Her big eyes looked at him and for moments she did not speak, instead just lifted her hand to caress at his cheek with soft fingers that traced gentle shapes on his flesh, comforting them both at this moment.
“Frank…I love you…just…don’t say those words if tomorrow you’re going to take ‘em back. I don’t need another person to step all over me…I especially don’t want you to treat me that way.”
He couldn’t and wouldn’t listen to her after she had said those three words to him. Instead he was left just smiling to himself broadly, like a little boy on Christmas day receiving their favourite present. The crooner embraced his arms around her immediately and pulled her back down upon the bed with him, keeping her in his tight hold which he surrounded her by, not allowing herself to move away for he didn’t want her to. He wanted her here. With him. In love.
“I love you Judy.”
Frudy Fanfiction: A Silent Epiphany.
How had this affair begun? This love affair?
At one moment, the crooner had seen Judy Garland equally in the eyes of a friend. He was gentle and loving in a manner of a true friend, with this constant yearning to prove their friendship would be everlasting and should be recognized as so. One of which would protect and guard dear Judy from harm and also make her laugh and smile as often as he could, because not only was it believed to be seen as his duty being in the position of her friend but it felt as though it were necessarily instinctive. A responsibility. For Frank knew how sensitive Judy was. He knew of her emotional stability as well as she knew of his. They were very close friends. Trustworthy to each other that they were able to confess all these big things that seemed so little between them. So had it been right to begin this affair? Or was it taking advantage of the other?
It must be right. For the way Judy’s warm lips met his with an almost shy tenderness that held such a delicate grace had convinced him as much as it had convinced her, that this was right. This was wonderful. This was what had needed to have happened sooner.
The soft moonlight glowed through the window smoothly with soft milky rays that invaded the bedroom and settled down in a path upon the floor that soon, in its direction, crawled over the dishevelled bed covers in a perfect straight line. Laying within his bed, that now felt as though it belonged to the both of them with how often Judy appeared to be within it, Frank watched the petite curvaceous woman who lay beside him – seeming so delicate in the soft glow of the moonlight.
She seemed so at peace. So at ease. As though he had never seen her crying earlier this day with the feeling of being inadequate and judged, and he had never wrapped his arms around her whispering words of genuine comfort as well as soft jokes that had caused the woman to crack a smile and laugh faintly, falling out of her stupor of sobbing. She was here. With him now. Looking at him in such a way that made him feel…wonderful. Marvellous.
“You’re in my bed, stealin’ all the covers.” He told her in false complaint, in the softest of tones as he lay facing her on his side. His blue ocean eyes watching her with a blissful contentment that couldn’t be more evident if they tried and a smirk of boisterousness curving his lips upwardly in a rumbustious tease. One of Sinatras usual traits.
“If you didn’t want me to steal ‘em, you shouldn’t have let me in your bed.” Judy answered, tugging the covers a little bit more over her, covering her body up to her neck in a cocoon sort of manner, seemingly utterly snug as the warmth of the blankets and his body so close by, warmed her own nude one. The way her voice was so sweet and floated into the air caused the crooner to be reminded once more of the circumstances that had occurred only minutes ago when the same voice had sung a lovelier song.
Frank had pushed her down onto his bed with dominance previously, kissing one another with an unmistakable frivolous passion before each of their clothing had been desperately torn off leaving their skin exposed to one another with their yearning desires in a most intimate manner. As time progressed onwards, Frank was covered from waist down by the blanket as he moved atop of Judy rhythmically, being the shadow of her, as her encouraging symphony of soft moans that were as melodic as any tune either of them could vocalise, floated high into the air.
“It was too hard t’resist.” Frank answered with a broadened grin when falling out of his daze only to be brought into another at the feeling of Judy’s soft fingers running over the scarred skin of his left cheek, adoringly.
Judy did not speak a word for moments and neither did Frank. There was no need for words between two lovers, for instead, they just looked at one another with unsaid words that were exposed in each others moonlit eyes. Three little words that both were afraid to say but knew with confidence by now that they were true and that it couldn’t be denied even if they were to try.
They were in love.
Not so sure on the end, because i rushed it, but here you go, my first Frudy fic :D
The door was shut when he reached it, so he slowly opened the door to see the outline of someone petite lying in his bed. It was Judy. He sighed relief to find her. Sneaking into the big room, Frank walked straight into the on-suite bathroom, and shut the door behind him. Washing and changing into pyjamas that had been placed on the laundry basket by the house keeper, he switched the light off, and stepped back into his room, being startled with a pair of eyes staring up at him. The room was filled with a soft light coming from the street, and in it Frank could just see Judy. ‘I'm sorry, I thought you were asleep.’
‘It’s okay, darling, I can never sleep anyway’ Judy as wearing an old shirt of hers, which hugged her figure, and was sheer in some parts. Frank felt a small lump grow in his throat when he saw how the shirt of hers hugged her, and he had to try and stop himself from jumping onto the bed and making love to her there and then; with no negotiations. She shifted around on the bed, into a sitting position, crossing her legs underneath her, before switching on the antique lamp; which sat at the side of the bed. Frank squinted at the bright light coming from the lamp, before closing the bathroom door, and walking to his side of the bed. Judy sat and opened her arms; welcoming Frank into them. Frank slid into her arms, and they sat embraced for quite a while. Judy could smell a small bit of bourbon on him, indicating that he had been drinking; sometimes she could tell if he had drunk a lot, for the smell as a lot stronger. ‘How was the party?’ Judy asked, trying to stop herself from yawning at the end of the sentence.
‘Just like any other, booze and music, and a lot of quests’ Frank emphasized the words ‘a lot’ which didn’t surprise her. Whenever Bogie threw a part, you knew it would be a good one, with a lot of guests and drink, and it was impossible to come away without a headache. They both settled on the bed, Judy cocooned in Franks arms, as he told of the party. She nodded, and murmured in the right places when he spoke; and tried to hide the fact that she was sleepy. When Frank looked down at her, in the soft light of the lamp, he could see she had tried so hard not to fall asleep.
Reaching over, he switched off the lamp, and sunk into the soft sheets of the bed. Pulling Judy close to his chest, Frank kissed her forehead before he, to, tried to sleep.
