Oh. Yikes. The new Freat Street: Prom Queen was really bad.

It just...from all departments,they truly dropped the ball there.

The acting was meh. The set design boring. The lighting and colors, things that were fucking amazing in the trilogy, were as basic as can be, the costume designs were terrible, etc...but the script was the worst offender.

Even watching it as a standalone move, not comparing it to the trilogy, this movie was really boring and forgettable. Apparently it wasnt even directed by the woman that did the trilogy.

Just read the book Fear Street: Prom Queen, it has a different story, and a much better one, i enjoyed the book a lot.

Or just watch one of the animatics from the song "The Balad of Sarah Barry", it has a better prom massacre story in those three minutes than in this whole movie lol
