Bittersweet reaction to the latest FT chapter
While I’m glad to see Lucy taking action instead of remaining at Brandish’s mercy, it still feels sad that the FT mages are forgoing their no-killing policy since the Tartarus arc in favour of accomplishing their mission. Yeah, I know that’s only because they’ve got no options left (after all, you can’t arrest an entire foreign government, specially one as strong as Alvarez’) and they aren’t taking any pleasure out of that (Mira even decided to save Seilah in spite of all bad things she did to her when she didn’t present a threat to them anymore), but it still saddens me to see such a idealistic and compassionate person as Lucy being willing to murder another person, as bad as they may be (though I reckon Brandish isn’t nearly as cruel as some of her colleagues) in cold blood and in such a violent fashion.
Tl;DR: We should be proud of Lucy for being proactive, but not for being murderous - because she definitely isn’t proud of herself for that.
