I just saw a post that said that “if Fairy Tail was really about the Power of Friendship then FACE should have been defeated by all the guilds working together and not by the dragons” and that’s just wrong. 

Having FACE defeated by the dragons still upholds the power of friendship/family message becuase the reason the dragons stopped FACE was becuase they loved their Dragon Slayers and cared about humanity as a whole, so they wanted to save everyone from losing their magic. 

So, essentially, the Power of Friendship summoned the dragons; it wasn’t the dragons replacing the Power of Friendship.

Fairy Tail made me sob again... Like I keep saying, stop making Natsu cry, goddammit!

You know, bringing out the dragons only to kill them off makes sense, as sad as it might be for their kids (and the fans who wanted to know more about them). The Dragon Slayers needed proper closure where their dragon parents were concerned, but the dragons couldn't stay around (since they probably would have, had they been able to), because that would have been way too easy a problem solver from now on (the dragons would have dealt with the troubles ahead way too easily). I guess Mashima went with the easiest route.

Also, the first time I read the chapter (went through it 3 times), I didn't see that single panel with Lucy about halfway through so I was beginning to think that maybe something happened, like idk, maybe she was kidnapped or something and noone noticed, since I'd have thought she'd be with Happy, trying to console Natsu or something, yet I didn't see her anywhere.

Who else is entirely NOT SURPRISED that Weisslogia and Skiadrum are very much alive?

Also, yey! the parent dragons are back and kicking ass and I hope to god they explain themselves for abandoning their kids.

And hopefully, they actually stopped Face from happening and it's not just a brief Hope Spot.

And am I the only one who thinks Gray is a bit off? I mean, I get him wanting to eliminate END before it has a chance to be unleashed on the world but... Idk, he just seems off.
