fraxus week 2025 - day 1 - first meeting/early days
i wanted to reimagine their (dubiously) canonical first meeting as its seen in the ft gaiden where laxus beats the raijin tribe as more of an equal standing because i mean quite frankly despite how the gaiden portrayed it i dont believe that laxus could 1v3 the raijin tribe unless they were already pretty beat and beyond that i really dont believe that laxus “everyone whos weak must be purged from MY fairy tail” dreyar would team up with people he apparently beat so easily
so in my reimagining (i originally had plans to get all the thunder legion in there but ran out of time) laxus still beat them the first time they met, but it was honestly kinda dirty, it was after theyd done a lot of fighting for a mission and laxus swept in last minute to take the credit
on their second meeting however it was MUCH more fair ground and the raijin tribe beat laxus (as they shouldve) which sparked off the beginning of their allyship
(i actually had 2 extra illustrations but thanks to stupid ipad things they both separately got deleted TWICE so sorry gang)
