– LOUIS USES HIS KEY TO UNLOCK THE DOOR TO THE RESTRICTED SECTION OF THE LIBRARY when he hears the sound of footsteps behind him. he whips around, brow furrowing as he recognizes one of the witness protection kids – she’s friends with luce, he knows that much. “ woah, hey ! ” he exclaims, “ how long have you been standing there ? ” he eyes her reproachfully.

– ALLIE BARGES INTO THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING. she’s wearing a blanket over her like a cape and she pulls it over her head. she’s never been hungover like this, not in her life, and she feels dizzy and nauseous as she curls up at the end of harper’s bed. allie figures she owes atty and marlowe a bit of space after the terror she was last night, so she’s come to annoy harper. “ i’m never drinking again. i feel like death, ” she remarks, looking up at harper. “ actually death sounds NICE, ” allie adds, groaning as she rolls over.
