I always envisioned taking Tariq to this and riding the 12 mile, but we never made it. It'll be hard getting time off to be there so soon after the 4th, but maybe if I work the late shift Sunday...

My dad is going to fort meade for his eye surgery in a week. Now this doesnt seem at all unfortunate until one realizes that my ex lives on that very base... Now, while they most likely will never cross paths while he's there for his surgery or his follow up appointment in a few weeks, I will still see my father as pretty much radioactive as far as OCD goes. I love my dad, but I won't be able to be in the same room as him for weeks at least. I already go through my life staying away from my sister, she puts off her own 'radioactive' cloud. I cannot even hear her voice without having an anxiety attack and have to hold my breath if I have to pass her or walk through a room that she is in. There are alot more protocols I have, and if You are curious feel free to ask, I'm not shy about it. The point is, is that I don't want to have to do this with my dad, moreover, I don't want to have to do this with two people instead of the one, I can barely handle that as it is. I don't have any idea as to how I am going to deal with this.....
Spread the word & come out if you're in the DC area. We need lots of support for Pfc. Manning & his heroism!
