What I love most about this outfit is the fact that it combines my past with my present. For one, I have amassed a huge collection of turtlenecks and knit sweaters because of my teenage-want/need to be as covered as possible. When I began my #bodypositivejourney I took time to make some changes with my closet and I struggled with the idea of getting rid of any of them. It took a while to realize that although I once used thsese tops to hide my body, I could now use them to create polished, chic and refined looks unlike what I did before, even going so far as to incorporate prints into a once very monochromatic wardrobe.
