Regarding Ideal Types
Idols are always asked about their ideal type and they provide you with an appearance and/or personality they find to be “perfect” for them. Many of you fans probably look at these and try to compare yourself to what is described. I’m here to tell you that this whole concept is the biggest pile of crap.
Ideal type is something that’s constructed to fill the space of where a real person should be. Once a real person is in that space, an ideal type becomes meaningless.
Your bias, or any idol, or anyone for that matter, may say that they want someone with certain hair, certain height, certain weight (You’re kidding right?), but in the end, it means a whole lot of nothing. Not to sound cheesy, but it’s really not up to them who they fall for. So, yeah they have an “ideal” person in their mind, but everyone does. It doesn’t mean you have to fit the description.
Think about your ideal type. Then think of anyone you have had a crush on, have dated, or thought you would date if given the chance. Do all these people match your ideal type? I suspect not.
So really. Sure you can look at the ideal types of the idols, but don’t think of it as “Oh, I’m not their ideal type so they wouldn’t like me or won’t think I’m pretty, cute, or handsome.” Because that’s simply not it.
