I don’t know about the anon, but I don’t think there’s anything at all wrong with “typical femininity”. I think the point is that that’s the ONLY type of femininity apparent in Moffat’s writing? There’s just a lack of diversity, I think!

Do your favourite characters all have a lot in common, or are they all quite different?
well, my favorite characters are all quite brave. they act on impulse, on immediate necessity. they don't doubt, they just go for it, without thinking too hard about consequences. they're selfless and honorable. divergent taught me that big time. to be selfless and reaching outwards to people. and a lot of my favorite characters hold that in common. sherlock holmes, john watson, hermione granger, severus snape, all of them do something for others and not just themselves. great question man
