During the scene where everyone weaponed up Jesse still did not have a weapon and was just using powers right like he did not bring the marinara he was using at Dareth’s dojo?

Yes and yes. He's still in training with the wooden naginata, and given the threats they've faced so far, a wooden weapon isn't quite sturdy enough to stand up to what the ninja go through (and it especially wouldn't have been helpful against Kozu anyway, unless he used it like Nya did her spear lol), so in general Jesse never uses it outside of the dojo because it's more of a liability than something to rely on.

Now, if it was a weapon of his own that was primed for situations like these and was even able to take advantage of his powers with it at the same time, then yes he'd finally be packing some extra leverage like everyone else.

....but he still doesn't have that. Yet.
