Green Peace

I’m high at home.

2 girls wearing Green Peace clothes came to my door. They had my name and everything, and were also looking for someone by the name of “Johln”, with an L, sure. Tryng to “recruit” me again but being nice about it, smiling ,giving high fives, telling me that I PERSONALLY stopped Shell from digging for oil in Antarctica. Buuuut, I told them no, they can have my voice but not my money, Im broke and already was part of them for months, but they werent having it. Kept pitching to me, almost seemingly to make me feel bad on purpose. The monthly donation is unfortunately not what I can handle finannually. I explained that, and they didn’t care.

Then my girl inside the house goes, “You can have his voice, but not his money” clearly irritated these girls are flirting with me, so she says, she’s probably right. Then the more talkative girl looks in the screen door and goes, awww, aren’t you cute sweetie" and starts dropping deforestation and climate change facts, guilt trippin. But in between that shes dropping lowkey jabs at my girl, being condescending as fuck. Next thing my stoney ass sees is my girlfriend right at the door and WW3 just happens. They talk, briefly, then it’s joined with get off my property he said no 5 times already and I’ll call the cops. And she, GP, said good, I have a degree in criminal justice, I know all the cops here. Which of course, is not true.

Anyway, that was my ordeal, it was all very loud. The other girl was nice, we shook hands before departing. But that other chicks attitude changed immediately once my girl said something. Like, wow peacefully aggressive.

I Am NEVER Going To Shell Again

I may be a legal adult now, but I still have much to learn about the world.

Like the fact that gas stations put charges on your account before you actually fill up as a "just-in-case."

I went to a Shell and checked my account to see if I had enough for some fast food and I was in the fucking negatives.

I was like "wtf? i had enough money for the week!" It was a Monday and I had just gotten some money from my parents, so I was rightfully freaking out.

So I check what I might have spent money on.

Shell put a fucking $125 hold on my account.

And it didn't go away until the next day.

So, I did not end up eating fast food, but leftover from what a friend didn't eat earlier that day.

Thanks, Shell.
