FUCK BEING POLITE
There's a story going round Facebook just now about a girl not accepting a drink at a party. Lots of people think she should have been more polite... She was initially but when pushed she told the truth.
Parents teach their children not to take sweets from strangers, to shout NO and run away if they are uncomfortable.. then gradually, society makes women stop doing this. Women are supposed to accept drinks with a smile or refuse by lying. They do this to not offend the *nice* man... To take the sweeties instead, then when she does she is lambasted if something bad happens, it was her fault for taking them... If she says I don't take sweets from strangers, the man is now allowed to be offended... The truth is, that most women are on their guard ALL the time, we aren't psychic, we can't immediately spot the pricks amongst the princes, we watch our drinks, we hold our keys in our hands on the way home, even in well lit, busy areas because we HAVE to.
So I say ladies, FUCK BEING POLITE. I'd rather offend a good man than be preyed upon. And a truly good man, will not be offended. You are under no obligation to pander to anyones' ego. Repeat after me FUCK BEING POLITE!
