So, the first language of my family is not english but german. But I consider our english to be pretty good, especially my generation.

So today I was with my brother and his girlfriend to the park and there's a small zoo there. And we found out that appearently my brother doesn't know what the word "donkey" really means. We just kept talking about donkey kong and pointed at the donkeys laughing while he thought we spoke of monkeys or gorillas.

Neither me nor his girlfriend ever told him.

I will check on this in a few years again.
