ilya stares right through shane from the other end of the couch as he speaks. cheeks turn red with anger he's trying to mask. ❝ that is not fair. ❞ and it wasn't. not in ilya's mind. he hated to say that he had it harder the hollander. that more was at stake for him. but he didn't have a family who would love him no matter what. he didn't have to worry about never being able to go home again.

he hadn't met shane's parents, so he couldn't say for sure. but the way he spoke about them — it sounded like everything ilya had always wanted and never had. ❝ stop playing the victim, you know things are not that simple. ❞ there's hurt in his voice. it might be the worst thing shane had ever said to him.

Brb just crying again over the Wisdom spirit quest name in Inquisition again.

What I thought was just a bit weird of a name to get the Dread Wolf Fen’harel anagram right, is now an absolute gut punch after playing Veilguard. That whole quest just hurts when you play it again with Veilguard’s insights.
