It isn’t always easy

Today, sitting in IOP, I got severely triggered. We were talking about rituals... like how I used to have my “dope kit” and I’d sit in the same spot, use the same belt to tie off, use the same spoon... and all I wanted to do was get high..

Now, I have work at 3 and I’m tired and I wish I could have just a pill, or a hit, or a shot- anything.. but I can’t, and I won’t. And I should be happy about it. But recovery isn’t always being happy, is it?
