So I've done 3 half marathons, a ragnar relay (my portions totaling 19.2 miles), and 2 megahalf marathons.
I've finally set my sights on my first full marathon!
It's the same race as the 2 megahalfs but there is an extra loop that the marathon runners take, so I think this one would be the best. I know the course, I've run it, there is an early start time and it's somewhat flat.
I wrote up a basic training schedule to get my long runs up to 20 miles.
Any tips for a first time marathoner?

Plans and goals
Ok, so I will get my augusta recap up here soon.
Here are the rest of my plans for 2017 and new plans for 2018.
1. As always I need to work on my nutrition. That is and will be my top priority these next few months. October will be spent eating better, hopefully even while I am home on vacation for a week. Then carried on over through November and so forth. This HAS to become the number one thing. It's affecting my racing and my attitude. Dropping weight and becoming healthier overall.
2. 1/2 marathon November 5th. This was originally gonna be a full, but my training has been lacking so I only signed up for the half. No real goal time, but I'll think about that more as I run a bit more.
3. Weight training and building strength. I never make this a priority and I need to. Tom said he devised a workout plan for me so I am gonna finally take him up on that.
4. Full marathon. I have one in mind with a few friends. It's March 10th, but the problem is that it's a Saturday during our really busy time so he may say no, which I'm dreading. If I can sign up for this one I am actually looking forward to the training process. Mostly cause it'll be in the cold months. If I can't do this full I'll find another one for the spring.
5. Triathlons. You know cause I'm fucking crazy and obviously having nothing better to do than torture myself, I think a little group of us have decided to do Louisville 140.6 2018. But we can't sign up yet cause Louisville 2017 is October 15th. We're hoping it's bit cooler for that 140.6 than Chattanooga. I may try and do Chattanooga 70.3 again, we'll see since this shit gets expensive. Also I need to decide about bike stuff too. More on that later.
I think that's it for now.
Ran my 4th marathon today 😎 and it was amaaaaaaazing. Beautiful city of Rīga and greatest atmosphere ever. Ran 3:54 and felt like flying. It was almost effortless. I'm in love with running marathons. 😍
