I completed my first 10k race in 1:20:14. It was definitely not my best run or my fastest, but I am so happy that I finished it 🏃🏃🏃

4 miles in the POURING rain!! I planned on 2 followed up with a few more tonight buttttt I got sucked into my audio book, felt great and enjoyed the rain! So 4 it became! Days like today make me feel the most badass!

Another week of running in the books! 8 miles feels kind of pathetic for a long run, but I'm trying to be patient with myself as I build up mileage again. Easier said than done, patience is not exactly my strong suit 🙄

I'll write a race recap in a bit but it was awesome! I went out too fast and got murdered by the elevation gain but I got fifth in my age group! My brother got first in his and fifteen overall!

Ran my 4th marathon today 😎 and it was amaaaaaaazing. Beautiful city of Rīga and greatest atmosphere ever. Ran 3:54 and felt like flying. It was almost effortless. I'm in love with running marathons. 😍

Run streak day: 100!!!! Miles for the year: 425.85 I really wanted to do something special today since its day 100, but I didn't have a ton of time so I decided on a 10k on the trails and it was gorgeous!! I can't believe I've kept it up this long, I've put in 375 miles in 100 days and I'm definitely not done yet!!!!! Happy running everyone!!!!

That run was super fun and dare I say .. easy? Felt like a superwoman and could have done another kilometre or two but I’m protecting my shins ya see

Here is also a very blurry photo of a glittery shiny gate thing I really enjoyed and they had the sprinklers on when I arrived, I wanted to run through them but by the time I got to the gate they switched them off and SPOILT MY FUN

You guys must be getting sick of my sweaty pigtailed head running around the mausoleum - on Sunday I’ll go on the hunt for some new scenery I promise

I snapped that picture right around the point where I realized I bit off too much. Pushed it too far. I really wanted to up my mileage to 2 just to see if I could.

I couldn’t.

So unless something miraculous happens with my foot pain in the ~5 hours left in the day, my streak will end.
