Lunar Eclipse
Full moon in Capricorn
Saturn enters Capricorn
We are officially halfway through 2020! Breathe it in! Remember in my last post how I said we all need to buckle up? Well I wasn’t kidding, this last half of the year is going to FLY by, very quickly, and it is going to feel like one hit after the other. Not necessarily in a bad way, if we prepare ourselves and put in the work, we can reap some serious rewards come Autumn.
August and September are the money-making months, so yes, in many ways, this is a money spell. Many of us are still coming out of a sluggish phase (I touched on this is my last post as well) and are feeling our motivation finally returning. This full moon/lunar eclipse fall under Capricorn and it comes directly after a waxing moon in Sagittarius, so we still have some residual fire energy. USE IT.
Use this time, use this energy to set your intentions for the next 6 months. “God helps those who help themselves” is the motto here. Set your intentions, put in the work and you’ll reap the rewards shortly. Tap into that structured, hardworking Capricorn mentality, and MAKE THAT MONEY. There is no shame in wanting to be successful, don’t fall prey to the bs spiritual/ artistic aesthetic of the struggling creative.
This is work.
Get paid for it.
Your experience, your talent, your hard-learned lessons go into everything you do. Charge accordingly.
You are setting yourself up financially, spiritually, mentally, emotionally for the future.
The last time Saturn was in Capricorn was at the end of 2017. Take this time to reflect on how you have grown since then. How have your responsibilities changed? How have you changed? Your career? Home/family life?
This is a loaded time! Lunar eclipses reveal the bullshit that have been holding us back and *spoiler alert* it’s usually US holding OURSELVES back. Pay attention to yourSELF. What are you lacking? What have you been neglecting? What are your needs? Are you respecting your boundaries, taking time for yourself, etc? Make your wellbeing a priority. Stop running on fumes and realize that you need a rest. Even if it feels like you’ve been doing nothing all along (quarantine, unemployment, lack of motivation, etc), you still need to take breaks.
Think of this as a purge or a detox. Use this time to slow down and reflect. Pat yourself on the back for how far you’ve come and make an updated game plan for where you want to go. Don’t judge yourself too harshly, we are all living in unprecedented times. We’re allowed to fuck up. Consider this the last call before it’s time to get up and get back to work.
This is a transitional period. We are at the point between WAS and WILL BE. Take the past as lessons learned and potential motivation for the future. It was bad but fuck it, we’re here now! Let’s do this!
