Any baby stories, anyone? (Juliet, I'm really counting on you for the least flattering ones about Artemis.) Love the blog, mod.
Angeline: All the boys were wonderful babies. Arty and Myles were on the quiet side, very attentive, and Beckett of course was our bundle of joy.
Artemis Sr.: Beck did take the longest to toilet train, though. He stopped using diapers at around a year, but didn’t use a bathroom till he was three.
Artemis: Those were dark days.
Juliet: That wasn’t the only think dark.
Angeline: Of course not, @moths---wings ! We love all our sons equally!
Artemis and Myles: It’s Beckett.
Foaly: Getting back to the original question, centaur babies are potty trained in the first few weeks. The real challenge is keeping up with them and making sure they don’t eat anything they shouldn’t. My princess tried to eat a swear toad once. She actually got ahold of one, which is a feat. We managed to get it away from her, though. I blame the toad for her first word.
Juliet: As far as Artemis, I don’t remember anything embarrassing. Well, it’d be embarrassing for me, but wearing tiny suits and having a tiny pager he called Butler on all the time were normal for Artemis.
And there was the time he waited in the middle of a fairy ring for a whole day with a camera.
And when he was three he became convinced his back teeth weren’t coming in bc he ate solid food, and so ate food smoothies for about a month until Butler convinced Mrs. Fowl to take him to a dentist.
Holly: I had a biting problem when I was little. It’s like I had to taste things to know they were real. One day I bit a cave sloth, these huge, stalactite dwelling creatures with really wiry hair. Well, my teeth got caught in its fur and the thing carried me to its nest. By the time my mother and the LEP found me, the sloth had noticed and detangled me and adopted me, sort of.
Foaly: I always knew you had a wild side, Holly, but I never would have guessed cave sloth.
