Just finished La Petite Mort (and reviewed on Amazon! <3) and needed to drop by to tell you how much I loved it!!! As a bisexual from Louisiana, I've been eyeing this one for a while, and I'm SO glad I finally read it!! I was getting very similar vibes as Mr. Brightside and the Atomic Bomb, which I also loved (as you may recall lol). The characters are all so compelling, and I love the supernatural world you created! I, like Marisa for most of the story, can't decide who I love most (but I think it's probably you!). All this to say, your writing is incredible and YOU are incredible and I cannot thank you enough for all the magic you share with us!!!

this isn’t for my NaNoWriMo project, but over my other project that can best be described as “broke-ass supervillains try to pay rent” I’ve finally broken through a five year long block by writing in first person, which has been working wonders!
20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)
not to slap my ass too hard but I think Corisande is kind of a fun inversion of the trope where a mentor starts out perfectly warm and friendly only to turn out to be shady as hell. they’re SO off-putting right from the jump, it’s like what?? is your motive here?? SO much more fun than a ‘nice but secretly evil.’

Definitely!!! And yeah, it’s made my blog a bit of a mess, but I’ve always been a multi-fandom/post-whatever-I-want blog, so honestly not much has changed lol

LESS is the non-count noun modifier and FEWER is the count noun modifier. You have LESS water, but FEWER drops of water.
15. We all project onto our characters. Where has your personality or life choices leaked onto the page the most?
A lot of my Draco’s self-esteem issues get borrowed from my own psyche (though obviously, I am neither wealthy nor a member of a death cult)

I always trusted the Summerset Public Library, though. The library and the books in it. The old fluorescent lights flicker and buzz, but they aren’t loud enough to turn into music, and I love the place so much I don’t care they haven’t done updates in a million years. I mean, the toilets still have pull chains to flush. It’s wild.

I'm not sure if you've had the chance to listen to Folklore yet, but I wanted to tell you I read Captain McIver's Ship of Souls yesterday (which I LOVED and devoured in one sitting even though I was supposed to be working!), and My Tears Ricochet gave me MAJOR Eli / Arno vibes (especially the last chorus). Just thought you'd appreciate that!! :)
