Poor Cabbage Head
@glass-cage-of-emotion-12 I have finished the picture I promised! I even thought of a little scenario/drabble to go along with it! I hope you enjoy.
Two second years, Aurora and Furo, sat in the open archways of NRC chatting away during the break in between classes.
“Ugh, I don’t want to go to Magic History...,” Furo sighed as they swung their legs over the edge. The Pomfiore student in the long skirt stared out into the field behind them.
“Well, we have Alchemy afterwards! I hear we are making a potion to make flowers bloom!” Aurora shared as the Diasomnia student played with their loose tie. Down the hall, a certain underclassman with dull green hair was making determined strides their way. Aurora got a mischievous grin. They yelled out, “Why hello, Cabbage Head! Found any good fertilizer today?”
The first year Diasomnia student rolled his eyes as he got closer, “My name is Sebek. I don’t know why you insist on calling me that horrendous nickname.”
“Because your hair looks like ruffage, haha!” Aurora chuckled. They nudged their buddy, “Isn’t that right, Furo?”
Furo quickly turned their head to look at Aurora and the newcomer. The blue bow on the top of their head jiggled as they adjusted their glasses. “Huh? Wh-what? Sorry, I was watching this bird flying about. What did you need? Who is this?”
“Just say yes.”
“Oh, okay. Yes,” Furo agreed. “What did I agree to?”
“You shouldn’t take advantage of someone like that! How can someone so uncouth be in the same dorm as the Young Master?!” Sebek wailed.
Aurora winced and cleared their ear. “And how can a cabbage head yell as loud as a banshee?”
“Cabbage Head? Oh! Is this the first year you mentioned before?” Furo caught on. Just then a bell chimed. “Dang it, time for class...Come on Aurora, let’s get going.”
“What’s wrong, underclassman of mine? Am I just that awesome that you can’t find the words?” Aurora teased with cheeky smile.
“You are nothing compared to the great Young Master! A human like you would never understand!” Sebek yelled back.
“Aurora, come on~” Furo urged as they tugged their friend and classmate off the ledge. As they did so, they stumbled back slightly only to be caught by a hand. When they looked back, a tall teal haired boy with an unnerving smile looked down on them. “Oh, thank you Jade.”
“Not a problem, but it looks like you may need some assistance,” the well-dressed merman pointed out.
Furo shook their head as they heaved Aurora off their seat as they continued to tease the croc like teen. “Nah, I got this. This is nothing. Are you doing alright though?”
“I am faring well, Furo. Thank you for asking,” Jade smiled down.
“Wonderful, truly wonderful,” Furo nodded before they turned back to yell assertively in Aurora’s ear. “Aurora, leave poor Cabbage Head alone! We’re going to be late!”
“Haha! See, even Furo thinks you’re a cabbage head, Cabbage Head!” Aurora laughed as they began running down the hall.
“I am not a CABBAGE HEAD! MY NAME IS SEBEK! SEBEK ZIGVOLT!” Sebek screamed down after us.
“Sorry Sebek! Have a good day!” Furo called over their shoulder as they scurried after Aurora.
