WOW!! A SURPRISE SUB MILESTONE!!

I can’t believe anyone still gives a hoot about a self-indulgent Fallout fan comic, but I’m sure glad that they do. :) Allow me to get sappy for a moment!

I started this blog in the midst of one of the worst art blocks in my life. I remember sitting down to draw for myself and realizing I had zero steam left. My job had taken so much of my creative and mental energy that I forgot how to draw for myself. I also felt paralyzed by social media; posting art on the blog that had my real name was stopping me from drawing what I actually wanted (which was, obviously, really dumb Fallout comics).

Thus, Fanartcity was born!! Something completely detached from my “real” online identity!

I honestly remember it feeling like a breath of fresh air. FINALLY I felt like I could create whatever I wanted with no judgement and just simply have FUN!! Anyway, I just want to thank you guys for drawing and goofing off with me. I’m so happy to have fun here with you on the big ol’ internet.
