Ok, so I'm no Tesco Superstore, but I do agree with their slogan, every little REALLY does help, and when it comes to budgeting for your big day, this is one little hack that really might just help you out if you're a little cash strapped!
Remember that one time at band camp? Ooops, wrong show...Remember that time that Joey from Friends got ordained online so that he could conduct Chandler & Monica’s wedding ceremony, and he shows up in fresh from a film shoot and utters the immortal lines?

(Well amongst other gag worthy and tear jerking lines anyway! )
A great episode we’ll all agree, and hey the character Joey is an actor, played...by an actor and he should be great at conducting a ceremony right?
Yeah, he was great, but he was no script writer, or ceremony choreographer...and whilst he knew his friends intimately, he wasn't able to tell their story to the world in quite the same way that a celebrant can. Whilst he was able to speak off the cuff, (kinda... because let’s face it he was an actor reading the script in reality) he wasn't able to pull it ALL together and allow the ceremony to flow seamlessly. It takes a knowledge of your craft and a certain amount of practice, to pull that particular rabbit out of the hat...
So, what am I saying here? Book a Celebrant, well obviously yeah, that’s the route I'll always advocate, because I LOVE MY JOB!!
But, that’s not what this blog is all about, this blog is about how I can help you sidestep the celebrant as your officiant, but still use a celebrant to provide you with a script and ceremony of your dreams...
Actually, as I write that and read it out aloud back to myself...I am asking the question ...WHY would you do that? But I’d best carry on writing and not reading any more...lol

Well, one of the most difficult things to about the whole ceremony is the writing of the script and where / how to actually start the writing process… What do we want to say, how do we want to say it?
Let me help take some of that pressure off your shoulders straight away, this is after all, what I do for a living!!
And it follows the same process as If I was to write and deliver the script in person, because I will still meet with you, discuss your requirements and then write your ceremony for you (or at least help you get going) …
The script is then yours to do with as you wish, and can be delivered by the person of your choosing.
With 3 options available you're bound to find the one that suits your needs and your budget!

Let’s get together for a chat...from all the information I obtain in our meeting and your subsequent questionnaire, I will write your script and email it to you for you to print off and use as you like.

I’ll ALSO meet with your on the day officiant to talk them through the process of delivering the ceremony and make sure that it is prepared in a way that allows them to take ownership of the delivery of your script.
(And, I’ll provide you with a keepsake copy of the script along with a certificate).
THE BELLS AND WHISTLES
As it says on the proverbial tin...all the printing and prep work, along with my attendance at a rehearsal, where I’ll help you ALL to prepare and co-ordinate the space ready for your big day. Everyone will be comfortable with their role and Joey won't make an appearance to fluff up any lines!
Everything will be included, choreographed and ready for you. From the processional timings through to where your officiant will stand as you share your first kiss, so they’re not photobombing THAT picture!
Obviously, I would still love to be a part of your big day!
I love all aspects of a ceremony, from the first meeting to the final delivery. But I really do, (honest) understand time and financial constraints can get in the way, and the picture you have formed in your mind’s eye might not include me...I do get that, so maybe, just maybe, this is the service for you.
You’ll still have a kickass scripted ceremony, but delivered with a special twist, by someone who knows you intimately...and you know what? I can’t say no to that!
All I ask for in return is lots of photos, I want to see happy, smiley faces...and that’s an order!!!
