When "Hustle On" dropped it quickly became one of my favorite songs. Admittedly this was partially because of a Freudian ear slip of misheard lyrics as "mom was a bitch and daddy was poor" which is more relatable to me. My mother has said a lot of things to me but it sure as fuck was has never been what that song says as it begins. She did and does know a lot of things including where I grew up and that I'm tired of a lot of shit.
