I'll keep it brief, just in case.
When you look to the future, do you envision yourself in it?

The Dementia Chronicles #12 - Motivated to Overcome Adversity
The Dementia Chronicles #12 – Motivated to Overcome Adversity
Things ebb and flow in the world of dementia–we have good and bad days. I remember my grandmother saying this about herself throughout her waning years. I called her Sitto as did my sister and all the other cousins. Sitto lived to be 97 even after me prodding her on to make it to 100.
Mom has good and bad days and right now we’re experiencing some better days where her moods aren’t so amplified…

discounted clothing, running, and a lesbian couple
Have you ever had cookies for breakfast? I'm not talking about the stupid shitty cereal. I mean real cookies. That's what I did this morning. I had gluten-free cookies for breakfast because I do what I want. They were so good. Then I went to Atomic Cafe and drank Hazelnut coffee while I wrote my article for levelrenner.com.
I'm still at Atomic Cafe actually. There are two lesbians sitting at a table in front of me and they're playing some kind of weird flirtatious game with their fingertips and it's kind of grossing me out. And not because they're lesbians, like I'd be grossed out if any heterosexual couple was doing this.
What else is new in my life? Well I've been spending lots of money lately, probably because of my anxiety. But I've been making money too, which is good. I just got a part-time job at the Greater Boston Running Company in Newburyport, which I'm incredibly excited about. I will not quit this job like I quit Grassy Roots Cafe and Pinkberry. This is actually something I want. Sometimes you have to quit things until you get what you want. I think that's a wise lesson.
Anyway yesterday I went to TJ Maxxxxx and spent $130 on spandex, Tahari pants, and a Max Studio dress. I need none of these items, but they all fit PERFECTLY so I had to buy them. Plus they were discounted items marked down by like 60%, so that basically means they don't count in terms of money I spent. It's like when you take small bites of dessert but never eat the whole things - those calories don't count, nor do they exist, the same way spending money on marked down clothing doesn't count.
