Tankard of Thirst Wondrous item, common
This simple tankard is the bane of many drunks. Crafted by an angry paladin to punish the party hard bard. The magic tied to this item causes any alcoholic beverage poured into the tankard to immediately disappear, as the face at the bottom of the tankard animates and gulps it down. The tankard can easily hold nonalcoholic beverages.
Curse: The first time someone pours themselves a tankard full of alcohol, a loud booming voice echoes in their head, “Your body is a temple, you must not pollute it.” From then on they can only use the Tankard of Thirst, attempting to drink from another container causes the to feel violently ill.
You can be free of the item by promising to never drink again and passing a DC 10 deception check. On a success, the booming voice returns once more, “Your hallowed halls thank you. Live long, my friend.”
