Little one broke this key, by pulling it when having some big feelings. It won't turn now, and we can't get into the garden. You'd think I'd be a bit annoyed about that, but actually it was helpful. He can't nap in his bed now that he's given up the dummy, but still needs one every few days or becomes slightly terrifying! 😳 He nods off in the car if we time it right, but doesn't want to go in the car for no reason, so I have been having to get creative and come up with reasons why he has to come with me in the car. Last week, we went "to see if his old nursery still looks the same from the outside." The week before, we went looking for pheasants. 😂 We've also been out looking for planes, helicopters, etc. He's getting wise to it and my ruse attempts were all hotly rejected, then I saw the bent key and it was perfect! He couldn't deny that we had to go and get another key cut! WIN. And extra win, because he must think I handled an annoying situation calmly. 😇😂👍 And as he nodded off, I'm going to say the key cutting place was closed, so we'll try again in a few days! 🤥 MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!
