I wanna make my first ever fursuit head and decided I gotta do a nomai. my version of pye specifically.

I sculpted a base in nomad (using the pictured quick and dirty reference sketches) and cleaned it up in blender, and im printing the model rn.

honestly idk if I will make the STL files available to the public yet, bc I’m so new at this, I dunno quite how it’s going to turn out. If it goes well i definitely wanna make it available, but for now we just gotta wait. I’ll post more updates on the progress!

3D printing a fursuit base

This is my first time using a 3D printer to make a base instead of carving from foam so I’m not too sure how it’s gonna turn out :/

I’m using a weird filiment that makes the base super squishy and durable. This is the Aft-head/back part of the skull and the print took 26h. I’m printing the face next and then smaller parts like the ears and cheeks after that. my hope is that this will be easier to make and more breathe able to wear

The fox got ears and sideburns. Now we are waiting for the eyes and it will be possible to proceed to the cladding!

FURSUIT BASE FOR SALE

I'm selling my pony base because I just don't have any plans for it anymore and I think I can do better so I don't want to "waste" any materials or more money on it right now

patterning eva foam is really hard! very happy with the end result of this ferret base though 💜
